Best Asian Restaurants in Vancouver
One of the best things living alone is I have the valid excuse to eat out. When I was living at home, my mom cooked almost everyday. People say you love the food you grow up eating with. Growing up eating mostly asian food, I have the tendency to go to Asian restaurants. The following restaurants are the highlight of my foodaventure in Vancouver.
Marutama
Located at the end of Robson street. During the weekends, the line might be from 15 - 30 mins, but I promise its worth the wait. I always finish their soup although I am not a big soup lover. Their soup flavor is not too creamy and oily. This is a tasty and healthy place in downtown Vancouver.
Sushimoto
Attention salmon lovers! Have you had salmon that melts in your month the moment you put it in? You have to try out Sushi Moto’s signature salmon belly aburi. They are so fresh and tender. Also highly recommend their awesome cream cheese roll and volcano roll.
Rong Rong Tea House
If you are looking for authentic Taiwanese food, you should definitely check out Rong Long tea House. My Taiwanese friends and I approve their Taiwanese food here. The restaurant is not very fancy and gorgeous, but the food is what keeps people coming back.
House of Tofu
How can I talk about asian food without mentioning a Korean restaurant? I love going to House of Tofu in the winter time, their tofu soup warms up my body right away. This is also a great place for student gatherings, since it is a 10-minute walk from Lougheed station and it could fit in a large group of people.
Patsara
Who likes Southeast curry more than Japanese curry? I know I do! You would not go wrong with Patsara's coconut creamy green/red curry. On top of that, Patsara is a great place with cozy and posh atmosphere.
